Description
Hazuki Kei is the leading male in the game, and the ideal “perfect guy” Konami has created for the players. He’s got the looks, attitude, and talents to be one of the most bishounen guys in the game. Although he seems a bit snobbish at first (which can be a real turn-off actually), he should thaw out once you’ve met the smiling requirement with him, and his smiles are all swoon-worthy ^^ and to die for. He also has one of the better dress senses among the Tokimeki guys, except for the modeling costumes (what's the furry neck thing? o_0).

What You Should Do
Meet Kei at the beginning of the game, it’s a preset event so you won’t miss it – he’s the first guy you meet when he helps you up after you fell while trying to open the chapel door.
Get a job at coffee house/cafe ALUCARD, where you’ll meet him on one of his photo shoots because ALUCARD is near his work or something. Once he’s reached :) or more, you’ll be able to serve food while he models in the background – it’s really cute! ^^ Once Kei likes you enough, he will also visit you regularly at your job to chat with you.
Be the top in school or least try to, because more often than not, Kei will be the one topping the rankings list (until he sleeps! *evilcackle* My no. 1...my preciousss...). When you get top (or near it) he'll come congratulate you, unless he sleeps during the exam and, when you end up asking him about why he got 0 for one subject (damnit! congratulate me on my stunning no. 1!).
Always offer to walk home with him even though he may reject you at the beginning. Don’t give up! Level up your stats, date him a bit and he should be agreeing on the next few tries.
Ask him to dine with you in the cafe when he's at smiling state. Asking him at neutral is fine but be prepared for rejection. This guy has some serious social issues. o_0
Don’t date him too often or he'll just reject you. Klist and Rinka both advice against dating Kei too often (1.5/2mths per date) at first, but according to the official guidebook it's not necessary to do that. You can date him around twice a month without any ill effects. Just don't date him near the tests.
Always accept his dates, which he'll be asking you on when he reaches grinning state. ^o^ Unless you have to defuse a bomb if not...what for are you passing up a chance to date a cute guy? Don't reject him too often or he'll get turned off.
Check his stats with your brother as early as possible. If you don’t, you may forget to unlock his birthday before it comes in October, first year. It's a good way of improving your intimacy and you'll also be able to see his smile and hear his lovely “thank you” (it sounds more like “sank you” though) upon receiving your present. Just a reminder.
Always make him homemade Valentine chocolate with the hearts and all. Chances of him returning the favour on White Day will be higher. Don’t worry if in the first year, he doesn’t seem to reciprocate your love. Play your cards right and you should have his blushing face by the next two Valentine days, and nice White Day gifts as well. :)
Always choose to extend the date when he asks you to, so you can hear his his 'sort of' confession (as well as the flea market cutscene - see Events). When you extend the date three conversation topics will appear. They should be the same ones you see when you dine with him at the cafe, and you can choose any one, it doesn't make a difference. After a few extended dates you can choose to talk about “love” and he should blush. Then during your next date it will rain on your way to the playground. The both of you will go to take shelter somewhere near your home, and he starts to talk about how the rain is a reflection of his feelings, and he’s been feeling sad and confused recently because...because...well, you never get to hear it, because your brother pops out of nowhere and offers to walk you home.
Have no other guys at Tokimeki state.

Two days later, you’ll get a call from Kei. It turns out he called the wrong number, but you get his phone number automatically as a result. :D Remember this doesn't mean you should neglect checking on him with Tsukushi! There's still his birthday!
During school events like Sports Day and the Culture Festival he will come round to say hi (and congratulate you if you do well for running etc.) if you're on a friendly level with him (in the first year's Sports Day even if he's only at neutral he'll normally pop by because he's likely to be the only guy you know).
Sometimes Kei gets 0 in a test subject and you'll ask him why. The answer is that he was sleeping because he was tired. o_0 (not that I care, the no. 1 position is mine!! ^_^)
See Kei in a traditional tux (and one of the nicest) during the Christmas Ball. He’ll come greet you if he’s already at :), but you’ll get to see him anyway if you choose to give him a present.

Hear Kei talk about his past when the ferris wheel stops suddenly while both of you are enjoying the ride. Just date Kei at the newly constructed Habataki Ferris Wheel (not the one at the amusement park!) during winter when he's at the grinning state (he should already be by the time the ferris wheel is built anyway). During the Culture Festival in third year, there’ll be an End of Year performance, where you can star in a play with Kei (providing he’s the closest guy to you). Just choose the second option if you’re in a non-sports club. You’ll get the play automatically if you’re in a sports club, or not in any club. He’ll be starring as the prince charming in Cinderella, suit and all. Halfway through, though, he seems to be completely engrossed... and for a moment there he looks as if he’s about to confess to you right on the stage... he catches himself and blushes, and it turns out he forgot his lines. ^^ The audience laughs at this anticlimax (who wouldn’t?) and the play ends with you thinking on how serious he looked before the fumble... See the ferris wheels with him at Christmas if he’s the guy with the highest stats with you in third year. I have to admit Kei's ending is the most romantic of the lot, and he does give you a ring (though he takes forever to stare at your finger o_0), so well, once he got over being Mr. Frosty he was quite nice.
